The Role 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support in leading our Camberwell Concept Store.

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver smooth day-to-day operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service is being delivered, within a positive and engaging environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with creating a positive and motivating culture within the team, that inspires great performance.
  • Contribute ideas and strategies to support delivering strong commercial outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Generate ideas to increase store traffic through events, promotions, and local community connections.
  • Assist with training, coaching and motivating the store team to maximise their potential.
  • Support with stock control and sales optimisation through effective inventory management.
  • Assist with online order fulfilment ensuring it is completed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Thoroughly understand and assist with all Loss Prevention matters and processes.
  • Assist with the management of all day-to-day operational requirements within your store.

 

About You

  • Proven experience within a retail leadership role,
  • Strong knowledge of all retail operations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to create strong relationships with both customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to enable data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexible to work a minimum of 2 weekend days per month and public holidays where required.
