The Daisy’s team includes approximately 190 people, working across 9 stores and 6 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager with a passion for customer service & providing quality products to join our Ashwood team.

The role

As an Assistant Store Manager you will:

• Providing leadership to the store team with the Store Manager
• Provide excellent customer service
• Be responsible for assisting the Store Manager to oversee daily store activities – customer service, delivery management, inventory and merchandising, presentation, open and close processes etc
• Promote workplace health and safety and environmental compliance
• Support the implementation of operational and strategic improvements at store level
• Undertake customer relationship management & sales growth activities

This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday rotating roster. 

Skills & experience

The successful applicant will be an experienced customer service professional who:

• Has strong experience working in a customer facing retail environment
• Has an excellent ability to form and maintain positive customer relationships
• Is comfortable learning to use a computerised point of sale system
• Can provide leadership to the store team
• Experience with or knowledge of landscaping supplies advantageous
