Associate Credit Manager | Personal Banking Department
This is a Two Year Maximum Term Contract subject to review for an on-going basis after the contract period.
You are mainly responsible for conducting due diligence assessments for home loan applications. You responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Credit assessment of new loan applications based on the Bank's current Credit Policy and Responsible Lending Policy, including application supporting documents review and serviceability assessment, and security risk assessment etc
- Ensure lending decisions are executed in line with credit plicy and approval authority limits and/or in consultation with the appropriate signatory
- Credit risk assessment regarding the post-settlement loan administration
- Delivering credit policy training to lenders
- Other responsibilities assigned by the management
Candidates should ideally:
- Tertiary degree in finance or related
- Proven experience in Retail Banking environment
- Experience in home loan lending or credit risk assessment is highly preferred
The required skills for the position:
- The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical & writing skills in Mandarin and English
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and autonomously
- Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in the banking industry
- Strong problem solving skills
