The Team

The Commercial Litigation and Regulatory team is regarded as one of the leading teams in Australia and regularly act for the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) and blue chip corporate clients on high profile and significant competition litigation, mergers and acquisitions and cartel investigations. 

They are also trusted advisers to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre and the Australian Energy Regulator, with extensive industry experience spanning a range of areas, including amongst others aviation, energy, finance, consumer markets, information technology, media and telecommunications

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate (3-4 years PQE) to join the Dispute Resolution and Regulatory team in the Melbourne office. This role will see the successful candidate play a key role in high-profile, complex commercial and regulatory disputes.

Work closely with partners on these complex matters whilst benefiting from structured training and mentoring. It is a significant career opportunity for the right lawyer looking to establish themselves in the regulatory disputes space, providing the opportunity to grow your skillset with challenging, dynamic and complex legal work.

• High level of expertise in dispute resolution and preferably regulatory disputes in particular
  


• Work well to meet deadlines and in a team, but also excel working autonomously on tasks appropriate for your experience level
  


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to foster and build productive working relationships with colleagues and clients
