About the Role
Join our team as an Associate Nurse Manager in a part-time ongoing position to work at South 4 at the Kingston Centre.
This is an ongoing Part Time opportunity working 64 hours a fortnight.
We are seeking a clinical leader wishing to develop into an Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) role, focused on the clinical development of staff, improving the patient experience and being open to innovative and collaborative ideas.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the ANM will develop themselves as a leader; being responsible for rostering, and maintain a safe skill mix according to the Safe Patient Act and is expected to be a proactive leader in quality and safety: taking on a portfolio to improve our service and action any gaps in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
About Us
South 4 is a 29 bed ward comprising of a mixture of GEM and Rehabilitation patients in a sub-acute setting. We provide specialist assessment, treatment and management of patients with complex and multi-dimensional needs including medical, function and often cognitive conditions. We often provide rehabilitation for patients post orthopaedic surgeries. South 4 is dedicated to delivering patient care in line with our iCare values and ensure all patients are treated with dignity and respected while in our care. We also have a heavy focus on discharge planning to ensure patients are provided with a clear plan and goals during their admission.
About You
You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated leadership team which directly supports the Nurse Manager. You are a great communicator, and will be able to multi task by managing the daily flow of the shift, and support the staff as required. With the overall aim to see that all patients are treated with dignity and respects as they transition into longer term Residential care or back into their home environment.
