This position will be a key member of Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS) supporting product management and client servicing functions in Australia and New Zealand. This role will work directly with senior management across Australia and Asia Wealth Management Solutions teams on a variety of product initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact for investors to ensure the product management and client servicing requirements are met with high quality specification. The candidate will work with the Head of AWMS Australia and New Zealand, the Head of Product Management Asia and various global teams to build out the Australia and New Zealand product platform that drives AWMS to its long-term growth and development in Asia Pacific.
Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with Head of AWMS Australia and New Zealand and distribution team members to manage the Australia and New Zealand wealth solutions platform focusing on local product management and after-sales client servicing, in order to drive AWMS to its long-term growth in the region
Help identify market opportunities, develop new products, manage and enhance existing ones
Support AWMS Australia clients with the highest standards of client servicing from product onboarding to regular client queries
Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication and coordination with local and global AWMS and investment teams
Own and manage the relationships with funds' third-party providers such as Responsible Entities, Administrators and Unit registry
Develop and manage project and product plans, timelines and budgets as appropriate
In conjunction with the distribution team conduct regular status update meetings with clients and platforms contacts and proactively address any concerns to ensure client expectations are properly managed
Create and update fund due diligence documents on a periodic basis and manage incoming RFPs and other ad-hoc requests
Stay up to date with industry and regulatory trends, share market knowledge and best practices with internal and external stakeholders to ensure AWMS is best positioned in relation to products it offers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field with exceptional academic credentials
Minimum of 3 years of product management and client servicing experience; Australia and New Zealand experience preferred
Prior product management and client servicing experience in Alternative Investments or Wealth Management firms preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication, and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with both internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness
