What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the development and maintenance of software applications
• Working across backend components and interacting with databases
• Applying best practices in coding, testing, and software quality
• Collaborating with team members in an Agile or cross‑functional team environment
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with guidance from more experienced developers

Technologies You May Work With

Languages: Java, SQL, Python (varies by project), React, Node.js, TypeScript

Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, REST APIs

Testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, JUnit

Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS (prior experience not required)

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases

Collaboration Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent industry‑standard tools

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience with modern development technologies, such as Java and TypeScript, gained through study, personal projects, bootcamps, or commercial experience
• Exposure to backend development using frameworks like Spring Boot, with an understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with, or a willingness to learn, frontend technologies such as React
• Familiarity with, or a strong interest in developing skills in, AWS cloud services and cloud‑based application development
• A proactive attitude, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow
• Openness to on‑site work and relocation, as this role requires being based client‑side
