Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programmer with extensive experience in the Audio Visual (AV) industry, particularly with Crestron and QSC technologies. As a Senior Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated AV systems for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with talented teams, and contribute to the success of high-profile installations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, and commission custom audiovisual control systems utilising Crestron and QSC platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions.
  • Develop and implement user interfaces and control logic tailored to meet client specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of programming solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings, contribute to project documentation, and provide technical expertise as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in programming and commissioning AV systems, with a focus on Crestron and QSC technologies.
  • Proficiency in Crestron programming languages such as Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+, and Crestron Toolbox.
  • Strong understanding of Q-SYS Platform, including programming with Q-SYS Designer Software.
  • In-depth knowledge of audiovisual protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, RS-232, HDMI, Dante).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results within project deadlines.
  • Crestron and QSC certifications (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Q-SYS Level 2) are highly desirable.
