Overview of the Aurora Dairies Graduate Program

The Aurora Dairies Graduate Program provides you with a unique, structured development program in the dairy industry. Each year Aurora Dairies offers multiple Dairy Graduate placements and will include experiences living and working across a number of farms along with exposure to the broader corporate team.

The program has flexibility depending on each individual applicant, but will include at least two on-farm placements in different Australian dairy regions and for those that are interested, an 8 month corporate placement in our Melbourne office (depending on operational requirements and candidate experience, these placements may differ). You will also attend regional leadershiip peer groups along with other regional and company wide conferences/events.

What will I get out of the Graduate Program?

• You will work as part of the on-farm and corporate teams on day-to-day farming activities and real projects, whilst receiving on the job coaching, training and mentorship.
• You will gain exposure to different production regions, farming systems and corporate administration. This exposure will provide you with a detailed understanding of how large scale national corporate agricultural businesses are structured and operate.
• You will be a full-time employee (on a maximum-term contract) and paid a competitive salary. Upon the completion of the graduate program, graduates will be eligible to apply for permanent roles within the business.

Am I eligible to apply for the Graduate Program?

To qualify for the Graduate Program you must be in your final year (or have recently completed over the past 2 years) of tertiary studies at a Certificate IV, Diploma, Bachelor or Masters level from an accredited Australian or New Zealand educational institution. Although not limited to, we encourage students who are enrolled in the following qualifications to apply:

• Agriculture
• Agricultural Science
• Farm Management
• Agribusiness
• Agronomy 
• Commerce/Business (with an interest in Agriculture).

You will be required to meet residency requirements by holding Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or a valid Australian Permanent Resident Visa.

Please note, you must be ready, willing and available to commence the Graduate Program in late-January 2026 for a one week induction program at our corporate office based in Melbourne. New Zealand applicants must be ready and willing to relocate to Australia for the 2 year program, although we may consider one placement to be in New Zealand dependant on company preference and availability.
