Your new role
Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing intelligent, scalable test automation frameworks focused on API, integration, and performance testing. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality delivery across enterprise platforms and integration layers.You will also leverage AI-assisted testing tools and automation capabilities to improve test coverage, accelerate release cycles, and proactively identify quality risks.
What you'll need to succeed

Design, develop, and maintain
API automation frameworks
Using Selenium and modern testing tools

Perform
Functional, automation, performance, and exploratory testing
For enterprise APIs and integration services

Create automation scripts for both new and existing APIs

Execute performance testing and share insights with business and delivery stakeholders to validate system scalability and load handling

Identify, log, track, and manage API defects throughout the SDLC.

Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, execution evidence, and documentation aligned with Jira and Confluence standards.

Conduct regression testing across lower environments and support validation through UAT

Support security testing activities including
Snyk vulnerability remediation
And BAU quality tickets

Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to ensure testability and acceptance criteria alignment

Perform peer reviews of automation code and contribute to QA best practices

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Three Amigos sessions, sprint planning, QA guilds, and delivery huddles

Contribute to estimation, sprint commitments, and delivery timelines

For automated test generation, test optimisation, and defect prediction

Exposure to
AI-powered code quality and vulnerability scanning tools
(such as GitHub Copilot, Snyk AI, Sonar AI, or similar)

Familiarity with
self-healing test automation frameworks
And intelligent locator strategies

Experience leveraging
Machine learning-based test analytics
For test coverage improvement and regression optimisation.

Understanding of intelligent observability and anomaly detection in CI/CD quality pipelines
