Automotive technician - Hiring Immediately

Looking for multiple, decently capable qualified mechanics and 3rd-4th year Apprentices for a family owned workshop in Biggera Waters, Northern Gold Coast.

Job Description includes, but is not limited to:

Servicing - most makes and models over a broad spectrum.

Brake Jobs inclusive of lathe and on car machining.

Diagnosis work. 

AC Service and repairs.

Timing belts.

Clutches.

Modern equipment - workshop just on 3 years old.

High paced environment suited to an eager technician!

Someone who is efficient, and can work independently a must.

Someone with excellent time management skills, who can use their initiative to help manage the workflow of the floor is ideal as candidatte will be liaising with workshop manager.

Must have broad general knowledge of vehicles, most makes and models are serviced/repaired at our workshop.

A few years post trade experience preferred.

Must have open, current manual driving licence.

History of minimal come-backs.

Looking for someone who can also handle some bigger service jobs; timing belts, clutches for example, - these are not done daily, however being able to do these jobs unsupervised is a must when needed.

Diagnosis skills are highly valued.

AC license and RWC inspection knowledge preferred but not essential - training provided for the right applicant.

Great rates and incentives, KPI bonus also.

Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8-5pm, every second Saturday morning until 12pm on a rotating roster.
