Army helicopters are packed with sophisticated circuitry and systems’ and keeping them at the peak of operational performance is critical to Army capability. So, if you’re interested in electrical technology, you’ll love learning how to maintain the state-of-the-art electronics that control our aircraft.
The helicopters you may learn to service include the Black Hawk, Chinook and ARH-Tiger (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter).

Salary
In the Army you'll get paid a competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $54,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training.
On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $81,452 per annum plus generous super.
Location
Following your initial military training, you could be posted to one of the many Army bases and units across Australia. The majority of these positions are located in QLD, NSW and the NT.

For this role, you must be an Australian citizen, over 17 at the time of enlistment and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English, Mathematics Science (with a Physics component) and one other subject.
