Job Summary:

Join our team as an Data Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog Delta Live Pipelines and Azure technologies to design and implement robust data solutions. With a focus on structured streaming and data lake management you will play a crucial role in optimizing data workflows and ensuring data security. Your contributions will drive innovation in the Oil and Gas sector enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making processes

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures using Databricks Unity Catalog and Delta Live Pipelines to optimize data processing and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate structured streaming solutions with Kafka and Azure Event Hub ensuring seamless data flow and real-time analytics.
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Lake Store environments to support efficient data storage and retrieval enhancing data accessibility and performance.
• Utilize Azure Key Vault to ensure data security and compliance safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.
• Implement Azure DevOps practices to streamline development workflows improve collaboration and accelerate project delivery.
• Monitor and optimize data solutions using Azure Monitor ensuring high availability and performance of data services.
• Develop Databricks SQL queries and workflows to extract insights and drive data-driven decision-making processes.
• Leverage PySpark and Python to build and maintain data pipelines ensuring efficient data transformation and processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data solutions to enhance system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards promoting ethical data usage and protecting company assets. Qualifications
• Possess strong expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog Delta Live Pipelines and structured streaming technologies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Azure Monitor Azure Data Lake Store Azure Key Vault and Azure DevOps for effective data management.
• Have experience with Kafka and Azure Event Hub for real-time data integration and analytics.
• Exhibit advanced skills in Python Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas domain is a plus providing valuable insights into industry-specific data challenges and solutions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site collaboration effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ensuring high-quality data solutions and outcomes.
