You’ll also support the training and development of your team, helping to build their skills and confidence. As Bar Team Leader at Peppers Marysville, you’ll lead the bar team in creating memorable moments for our guests by delivering exceptional service in a stunning, riverside setting. Whether you’re crafting cocktails or recommending a local Yarra Valley wine, you’ll play a key role in elevating the overall guest experience while guiding and supporting your team.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service and maintain a high-energy atmosphere
• Greet and welcome guests, offering expert recommendations to enhance their experience
• Take orders and serve drinks efficiently, ensuring smooth and timely service
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and inviting bar environment at all times
• Support the hosting of events and functions, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere
• Oversee all bartending duties, including inventory management and cash handling, ensuring accuracy and compliance

What we’re looking for:

• A friendly, approachable attitude with a guest-focused mindset
• Strong knowledge of beverages including, cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles
• A positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
