Best Practice Support Advisor

About the role 

Our CPA Australia Best Practice Program aims to support our members in public practice achieve their objectives in practice, while ensuring the highest professional and ethical standards are maintained. In this role you will support the delivery of our Best Practice Program assessments, assists members in the initial assessment stages, and contributes to technical issue resolution and member resource maintenance. You will ensure that our assessment processes are administered efficiently, member interactions are managed professionally, and program information is accurate, timely and reliable.

This is a permanent Part-time role – 22.5 hours or 3 days per week, including Thursday and Friday, with the flexibility to choose your third working day.

Your key duties will include:

• Coordinating and administering activities associated with the Best Practice Program assessment lifecycle.


• Manage assessment workflows, documentation and records in accordance with established procedures.


• Assisting members with enquiries and resolving day-to-day issues


• Monitor assessment progress and ensure key milestones and service standards are achieved.


• Apply CPA Australia policies, procedures and quality standards in all activities.


• Support the consistent application of Best Practice Program requirements.


• Assist in the preparation of data for reporting to external bodies on the annual cycle of


• Provide responsive and professional support to members participating in the Best Practice Program.

About you:

• Experience in administration, program coordination, customer service or operational support within a regulated or compliance environment


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively


• A proactive, member-focused approach


• High attention to detail  with strong problem solving skills
