Beverage Marketing and Development Executive - Urgent

Pisconeri Wholesalers Pty Ltd is a third generation family business with over 74 years in the Continental food, beverages and wines sector of the market.

We have a passion for high quality Italian food products including, Pasta, Oils Tomatoes, Mineral Waters, Balsamic vinegars, Wines and Liqueurs.

As a third generation family business, we understand the importance of good quality products and the supplying of many sectors of the food industry.

The role is a Beverage Accounts Executive, reporting to Directors and Managers.

Skill and Experience: Must have -

1. Proficiency in learning the product range quickly
2. A strong work ethic, be energetic, enthusiastic, confidant, passionate and driven.
3. Excellent selling and negotiating abilities. 
4. Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers
5. Good Organizational and Time management skills
6. Self-motivation and ability to work with others in the sales team.
7. Experience in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industry with a good proven track record.
8. High level communication, negotiation and relationship management 
9. Initiative to generate and secure new business.
10. A willingness to “Role up the sleeves” and a “can do” attitude.
11. Computer skills with Word, Excel and Tablet use.
12. Experience in the liquor and premium beverage industry is a big advantage

Responsibilities:

1. Growing and developing existing business throughout all sectors of the food industry
2. Developing New business opportunities including “Cold calling”
3. The role needs someone that is competitive and thrives in an independent working environment.
4. The Food sectors that need coverage range from Retail to Food Service, Restaurants to Wholesalers and large entertainment centres.
5. Maintaining Weekly / monthly call cycles to meet all customer expectations.
6. To deliver field performance (reports and surveys) accurately and on time
7. Actively utilize promotional programs.
8. The position is based in Perth, but some travel to regional centers will be necessary to expand and develop the existing and new business.
9. To Ensure the Beverage products are satisfactorily stocked to requirements of the customer and to maximize sales.
10. To achieve the agreed budgets for sales volumes within the assigned territory.
11. Monitor and report on competitive activity
12. Liaise with all appropriate internal and external personnel on all service issues.
13. Regular participation of scheduled sales meetings.
