Blue Prism Developer - Finance Automation

An exciting opportunity is available for a Blue Prism Developer to join a Financial Systems and Projects team, supporting automation initiatives across Finance and Accounting processes. This is a newly created role focused on implementing automation solutions using Blue Prism, the organisation's approved RPA platform.

This is a hands-on development role suited to someone comfortable working with RPA tools and scripting who can quickly contribute to existing automation projects. With process designs already defined, the primary focus will be on building, implementing, and supporting automation solutions that streamline key financial workflows.

You will collaborate closely with technology teams and global colleagues to automate important financial processes such as bank reconciliations and other operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions using Blue Prism
• Support automation of Finance and Accounting processes, including bank reconciliation
• Use scripting languages such as Python to enhance automation and data handling
• Work with system processes, data, and reporting to support automated workflows
• Collaborate with technology teams responsible for databases and infrastructure
• Contribute to automation projects within a broader RPA program
• Support low-code/no-code automation initiatives across the business

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with Blue Prism
• Comfortable developing automation solutions within an established design framework
• Experience with Python scripting or similar automation scripting languages
• Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes (highly desirable)
• Experience working with system processes, data integration, and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset
• Ability to quickly learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment

About the Role

This role is well suited to someone early to mid-career in RPA development. A highly senior candidate is not required instead, we are looking for someone with a strong attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn, who can quickly pick up new processes and contribute to automation initiatives.

You will be joining a collaborative, globally connected team, working alongside technology specialists and colleagues across different regions.

The client offers 3 days in office / 2 days from home hybrid working model.
