Komatsu's Wacol branch is growing, and we are currently seeking multiple Boilermakers to join our workshop team.

This is a hands-on role focused on the assembly, fabrication, fitment and modification of a wide range of machinery including:

• Brand-new Machines


• Mining Equipment


• Construction & Utility Equipment
  
  

You'll work across machine assembly, fitment of local customer options, fabrication, modifications, pre-delivery inspections, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning before equipment is delivered to customers.

We are open to candidates from a variety of trade backgrounds including:

• Boilermakers


• Fabricators


• Welders


• Heavy Vehicle Tradespeople


• Mechanical Tradespeople with fabrication experience


• Trade Qualified Metal Fabrication Tradespersons

Roster: Monday to Friday: 5:00am to 1:57pm OR 2:00pm to 10:27pm
Role Located: Wacol, Queensland

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication, Engineering Fabrication or similar


• Experience in welding, fabrication and equipment assembly


• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship


• Experience working on heavy mobile equipment, machinery or industrial equipment highly regarded


• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and build documentation


• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship


• Ability to work effectively within a team environment


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn


• Industry standard tickets/Licences preferred but not essential (Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Dogging)
