Boilermaker (Port)

We play a pivotal role in the smooth flow of bulk commodity exports, leveraging our strategic location to provide efficient and reliable port services. We specialise in efficiently handling iron ore, in addition to other high-value bulk commodities, including high-purity silica and spodumene (lithium) concentrate.

Join Newhaul’s Port Logistics team as a full-time Boilermaker working 12-hour shifts on a 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off roster. This permanent role offers consistent hours and the chance to be part of a growing team. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities  

• Structural maintenance and rust repair of fixed plant and mobile equipment. 
• Breakdown response and repairs to minimise downtime at both Port and Road Depot (including but not limited to Trailer Repairs) 
• Welding and fabrication to reinforce, modify, and repair infrastructure. 
• Preventative maintenance to extend asset life and reduce unplanned failures. 
• Assist Fixed Plant Fitters in major maintenance projects.

• Current C Class Drivers Licence, HR is preferable but not essential 
• Nationally recognised Fabrication Trade Certificate 
• Working at Heights
• EWP
• Dogging 
• Rigging
