Boilermaker/ Welder

Requirements

• Australian HR Drivers Licence
  
• Working at Heights
  
• Confined Space
  
• Arc Air Gouging and Thermal Lancing experience
  
• Proficient in MMAW, FCAW, GMAW and Oxy Fuel Cutting
  
• Refurbish/rebuild loader buckets, dump truck trays and excavator booms, sticks and buckets and other mobile plant and equipment
  Fabricate handrails, platforms and ladders for various designs of mobile equipment
  
• General mobile equipment repairs as required – including panel repairs and plate development
  
• Lay out plate, sheet steel or other heavy metal and locate and mark bending and cutting lines, using protractors, compasses, and drawing instruments or templates.
  

• Carry out tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures which includes take 5’s and the permit to work system.
  
• Work in and maintain a working environment with an acceptable level of housekeeping
  
• Correctly use and maintain PPE at all times
  
• Use and maintain workshop tooling in accordance to working specifications and conditions
  
• Maintain an accurate time -keeping record relating to work tasks
  
• Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level
