About the role

Guzman Y Gomez Fountain Plaza + Umina is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis. Based in Erina NSW 2250, this pivotal role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting operations.

What you'll be doing

• Performing daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
• Preparing and submitting tax documents and compliance filings
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing more efficient systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within the accounting/small practice industry
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, software, and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
