The Opportunity

In this role, you'll work closely with a collaborative, high-performing team, support a diverse client base, and play an important part in the day-to-day success of the firm. Position Responsibilities
General bookkeeping and data processing
Accounts payable & accounts receivable
Prepare BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare and lodge payroll
Monthly and annual payroll tax returns
Prepare end-of-year income statement lodgements for clients
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software (Fathom/ Syft)
Provide support and assistance to the Head of Bookkeeping on various projects and initiatives
Utilise accounting software to prepare reports for clients as required
Effective communication with clients, both verbal and written
Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners
Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings
About You
Minimum of 2 experience in a similar role
Experience in a public practice firm is highly desirable
Possess a Certificate IV in bookkeeping/accounting or a bachelor's degree in accounting
Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Hubdoc, Dext,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
