Job Description - Bookkeeper / Accounts Co-ordinator

This key role involves assisting in the management of the day-to-day accounts and administration function of the JAN-PRO Cleaning business. The role will see the successful candidate reporting to and working with the Accounts Manager at JAN-PRO Head Office in Hawthorn East, Melbourne, offering account and wider administration duties to the national business units. This role comes with full flexibility and approximately 3 to 4 days per week . This role, duties and hours will grow as the business grows.
 
Main responsibilities of the role:
•    Liaising with Accounts Manager and assisting on all finance functions of the business. 
•    Offering financial and administrative support to the Sales & Operations teams in each business unit.
•    Liaising with the different JAN-PRO business units, customers and franchisees.
•    Processing Franchise statements.
•    Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
•    Calling, emailing and following up customers in regards to accounts receivable payments.
•    Build rapport and develop positive relationships with all JAN-PRO stakeholders.
•    Updating and regular maintenance of files in the office.
•    General office duties.
 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:
•    Minimum 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
•    Proficient in XERO accounting software
•    Excellent phone manner and email skills.
•    Ability to work autonomously.
•    Diligent and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and work within a team.
•    Excellent organisational skills.
•    Problem solving & resolution.
•    Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
 

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Certificate IV Bookkeeping or above
