Job Description - Bookkeeper and Office Administrator

Propertyprojects Q is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic investment and property business!

About the business

Propertyprojects Q is our dynamic asset management and property business, having operating for 50 years. Specialising in equities investment, commercial property management and development, we foster excellent long-term relationships with all clients.

About the role

As the successful applicant, your duties as a Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to:

  • using QuickBooks Enterprise and BGL accounting - training available if you have good experience in MYOB, Xero or similar
  • extensive commercial/residential tenant/contractor contact management
  • maintenance of associated records and accounting
  • AP, AR and all admin functions responsibility
  • managing some tenant queries and maintenance issues
  • preparing leases from templates & drafting some correspondence
  • preparing weekly reports and draft final accounts 
  • working closely with the asset manager. 

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Full Australian working rights essential
  • Min. 2 years previous bookkeeping & data entry experience
  • Good office admin experience in a commercial  environment
  • Current Australian Drivers License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Publisher)
  • Experience using QuickBooks Xero or MYOB preferred
  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to record keeping & detail.
