Our Clinic is committed to providing high-quality healthcare and fostering strong community relationships. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Bookkeeper to join our team on a casual or contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
• Process incoming and outgoing bank transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Australian taxation requirements.
• Utilize Xero software for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
2. Knowledge: Best practice knowledge in medical bookkeeping and Australian taxation.
3. Software: Proficiency in Xero software; certification preferred.
4. Work Arrangement: Ability to work on-site at our Maryborough clinic once a week for 8 hours (15per fortnight).
5. Location: Must be based in or near Maryborough, Fraser Coast.
6. Work Rights: Full work rights in Australia.
7. Experience: Australian work experience is required.
8. Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Xero software.
• Previous experience working in a medical clinic environment.
