We’re seeking a proactive and reliable Second in Charge (2IC) to join our team and support the Retail and Procurement Manager in driving the success of our bottle shop.

The Role
As 2IC, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly every day. Working closely with the Retail and Procurement Manager, you’ll lead by example, inspire the team, and maintain the high standards that define the Coogee Bay Hotel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate the team to achieve store goals.
• Assist in daily operations, including rostering, stock management, and compliance with policies and WHS standards.
• Provide exceptional service, addressing customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Maintain stock rotation, inventory accuracy, and presentation standards.
• Support promotions, set up displays, and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Contribute to budgeting processes and achieving financial targets.

Skills & Experience:

• 3 or more years experience in retail or hospitality, ideally in a leadership role.
• Current RSA certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example and cultivate a positive team culture.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
