We have an exciting role in our Burton operation for an experienced and talented Branch Manager.

The Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of our Burton site in South Australia. We are looking for a self-starter who has experience and knowledge of transporting Dangerous goods and food grade liquids along with an unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant operation.

A key component of the role will also be recruitment, onboarding, and retention of quality operators to complement our customers’ needs now and into the future.

The successful applicant will be responsible for.

  • Ensuring safety is at the forefront of everything we do, every day.
  • Provide a high standard of verbal and written service to internal and external customers.
  • Timely and effective scheduling of transport operations within the confines of the companies BFM accreditation
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to our already high standards and presented to the highest level. 
  • Ensuring resources are effectively and efficiently managed to meet operational requirements.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and maximize resources through effective decision-making and fleet optimization.

To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience with transport and storage of dangerous goods.
  • Experience with effective recruitment and management of team members
  • Above average computer literacy skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Reliable, flexible and team orientated.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of Basic fatigue management, mass management, WH&S standards and other relevant transport compliance Acts and Regulations.
