Job Description - Brand Manager - Accessory and Apparel


Internationally known for its high-quality product range, this well-established automotive Spare Parts and Accessories Company continues to strengthen its market position by distributing products that meet customer and market demands. Due to an internal promotion, this is a unique opportunity for you to consolidate your professional career with a leading company that promotes personal and professional development. 

As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the research, development and product lifecycle management of accessory and apparel ranges. 

In the role you will: 



  • Define business goals with complete product lifestyle and marketing strategies to develop specific ranges, and ensure the profitability of products 

  • Co-ordinate the procurement process for new products 

  • Co-ordinate product sampling and testing to ensure best quality, and that the product meets Australian standards  

  • Collaborate and consult with relevant business unit stakeholders 

  • Determine detailed requirements and proof of concept whilst assisting suppliers /designers 

  • Provide comprehensive briefs and design concepts to suppliers /designers 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, including supplier contract maintenance and compliance, negotiations and supplier visits as necessary 

  • Co-ordination of marketing collateral, including product and lifestyle imagery, product information, videos and social content 

  • Analyse stock and sales data in line with product lifecycle management 

  • Apply appropriate QMS regulations and manage the company's QMS to maintain compliance 

  • Analyse and report on product reviews after implementation for future direction and development 

  • Other duties and responsibilities as nominated and directed by the company from time to time 






Requirements



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to develop strategies through the analysis of multiple data sources 

  • A solid understanding of marketing, PR, and/or advertising qualifications 

  • Understanding of business development and management 

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills 

  • Strong software application skills with an emphasis on Adobe Suite and Excel.
