Assembly Label is looking for a Brand Specialist / Editor to join our Creative team at our Alexandria Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career creative to develop hands-on experience in brand-led storytelling, content creation, and communications within a growing, multi-channel brand, helping to shape and maintain a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.
The Role
The Brand Specialist / Editor is responsible for developing and delivering brand-led initiatives that strengthen Assembly Label’s identity, community, and customer experience. This role brings the brand to life through content, partnerships, and copy, shaping and maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all physical and digital touchpoints. Acting as a custodian of the brand narrative, ensuring all communication reflects and evolves Assembly Label’s vision, values, and point of view
Key Responsibilities
Brand Initiatives
Drive and execute brand initiatives aligned to seasonal directions
Identify and develop ideas that build brand awareness, relevance, and community
Build and maintain a network of creatives aligned to the brand
Support the planning and execution of brand events. Ensure events feel aligned with brand values and creative direction
Identify and develop brand partnerships and creative collaborations
Own and develop editorial content and brand storytelling, planning and delivering ongoing output aligned to brand themes across social, journal, print, and key brand touchpoints
Copy Creation
Write and edit marketing copy, email content, and social captions in line with the brand tone of voice
Act as the custodian of the brand voice, owning and evolving how Assembly Label expresses its vision, mission, and values across all communication
Ensure consistency of language across all customer touchpoints
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the brand tone of voice
Customer Experience & Brand Touchpoints
Contribute to the development of in-store and physical brand experiences
Support initiatives that enhance the customer experience across key touchpoints
Help translate brand thinking into real-world execution
Support the development of branded product and gifting initiative
About You
2+ years’ experience in a brand or marketing role within fashion, lifestyle, or a creative-led business
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice across formats and channels
Clear understanding of brand building, and how content, partnerships, and experiences contribute to it
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Strong creative eye, with an understanding of visual and cultural references
Proactive and self-directed, able to take ownership and follow ideas through to execution
Ability to think beyond execution, contributing to the shaping of brand narrative, vision, and long-term positioning
Genuine interest in culture, community, and storytelling, with a point of view on what feels relevant now
