Note on Ownership: Nine Radio is proud to have recently joined Tapt Media. While this recruitment process is being managed by Nine under a transition of services agreement, the successful candidate will be employed directly by Tapt Media.
Day to day you will:
Provide prompt, in-depth technical support for all broadcast systems and services, managing the lifecycle of incidents using our service delivery ticketing systems.
Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and support of assigned broadcast systems, including managing upgrades, requests, and change initiatives.
Meet regularly with stakeholders to develop workflows, adapt systems to business goals, and coordinate appropriate outage windows for system repairs.
Act as a mentor and role model within the team, actively contributing to user training, system documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
3+ years of experience working within a team that supports broadcast and production systems.
Proven experience supporting audio, talkback, and communications production systems (both hardware and software).
A solid understanding of Broadcast IT infrastructure and workflows, such as Livewire, ST2110, Dante, and AES67.
A patient, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing objectives, and embrace a "We, not Me" team mindset.
Desirable: Experience with Axia, Lawo, VSM, Yamaha, Klotz, Protools, and Codecs (or equivalent).
