Bus Mechanic

• Timely Repairs: Ensure buses are road -ready with minor
  repairs to keep drivers on schedule.
  
• Scheduled Maintenance: Follow a kilometre -based
  service schedule, including major services and inspections.
  
• Fleet Inspections: Conduct bi -annual inspections for RMS
  compliance and address any urgent repairs.
  
• Be self -motivated, well presented and have the abilities to prioritise
  tasks and time to suit current requirements
  
• Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to read construction drawings
  
• Be
  able to communicate with team members, management and clients if required
  
• Strong leadership
  and the ability to mentor and guide a team of tradespeople.
  
• A friendly,
  approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
  
• Good knowledge and ability to follow work health
  & safety procedures and policies

• The ability to pass a pre -employment medical and National Police Clearance.

• A minimum MR
  driver’s license (or higher), to work proactively in an
