Business Analyst

Our Client:

Our client is one of Australia’s largest financial institutions, delivering banking and financial services across corporate and institutional markets. You will join a highly regulated environment working on complex transformation initiatives focused on compliance uplift, data quality, and operational efficiency. The work is fast paced, stakeholder heavy, and tightly connected to regulatory and technology outcomes.

What you’ll do:

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis across complex business and technology environments
• Analyse end-to-end processes and data flows across multiple systems
• Support delivery of compliance improvements relating to AML/CTF and KYC obligations
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
• Produce high-quality artefacts including business cases, process maps, journey maps, and technical documentation
• Support solution design by partnering with engineering and UX teams
• Engage senior stakeholders across business and technology, including executive-level presentations
• Drive outcomes across multiple initiatives while managing competing priorities and timelines
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across processes, systems, and data usage
• Support teams through change, releases, defect triage, and issue resolution
• Initial contract concluding 30 September 2026.

4+ years experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments

Proven ability to produce high-quality analysis artefacts and documentation

Strong experience in regulated environments, including compliance and governance (AML/KYC exposure preferred)

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams

Strong data analysis capability and confidence working with data tools
