One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experience Business Analyst to work across digital products and platforms. We are looking for someone who is client focused with experience in all aspects of business analysis in digital projects and initiatives. The role can be based in either Canberra or Sydney with flexible working arrangements also available. The successful Business Analyst will be offered a 12 month contract with a 6 month extension option.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Facilitating workshops and other research activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Producing artefacts as required to assist teams understand problems so that they can design appropriate solutions
• Providing input into solution design that takes into account enterprise architecture, security information and data management
• Understanding documents and business requirements  

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in digital projects
• Experience facilitating workshops for large stakeholder groups with the ability to synthesise input into requirements
• Experience producing artefacts such as user journeys, process maps and user stories
• Highly developed negotiation and problem solving skills
