We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Team have a requirement for a Technical Business Analyst, based in our Head Office in Cleveland (hybrid working environment).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, other analysts, and the PMO to facilitate project development
• Engage with business users and representatives to assess product suitability, functionality, usability, and reliability
• Develop a thorough understanding of the operational environment for the assigned product or subsystem
• Critically analyse discovered information to form reasoned opinions on system development
• Work on design, direction, suitability, strategy etc and the priority of work to be carried out
• Document existing and planned process flows and conduct gap analysis of business processes
• Participate in estimation processes, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Bachelor's Degree in a computing or engineering-related discipline
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, Networking, On-Prem, Cloud, or Platform certifications
• Scrum master experience
• Superior communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent listening and analytical skills; interpersonal skills and aptitude to work effectively within a team
• Ability to plan and organise work in an environment of strongly competing priorities
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility to your tasks 
• Ability to communicate technical matters to non-technical users and stakeholders
• Excellent reporting skills
• Passion for community engagement 
• Collaborative nature and desire to be a part of the ‘bigger picture’
