Job Description - Business Development Associate - Aggregation

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Deskbound Business Development Manager to join the Finsure team in Melbourne 3004 [St Kilda]. 

 

Position Description: 

Assist with a portfolio of brokers to deliver revenues and profitability to Finsure Finance & Insurance Pty Ltd including ongoing training for Brokers at all levels.

Participate as part of the National Sales team to maximise organisational performance and achieve organisational objectives. 
 

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Broker Relationships

• Focus on implementing and executing a retention strategy for Brokers across portfolios.
• Decrease number of non-active brokers by conducting business planning sessions and setting action plans and follow up.
• Monitor and manage broker performance using statistical data to create awareness and increase competitiveness.
• Cross sell Finsure and partner services to help brokers enhance their businesses.
• Manage communication to brokers including event and educational email notifications.
• Manage brokers with negative balances to ensure a timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Manage expired memberships, insurance certificates and other required documentation.
 

2. Sales 

• Coordinate relationship between BDM Sales Team and Finsure Sales Support Operation teams to ensure the efficient onboarding of brokers.
• Manage document inflow and required information for new to Finsure Brokers.
 

3. Events

• Cordinate VIC/TAS/WA and SA event organization, including but not limited to, workshops, webinars, Professional Development Days and Cultural Events.

 

4. Learning and Development

• Identify business and performance gaps across your Brokers businesses and develop strategies and solutions to close gaps.
• Regularly conduct learning and development events for Brokers and Staff in both Skills Training and Product Knowledge to improve individual performance.
 

5. Lender Relationships 

• Develop strong, relationships with key lender staff to facilitate aggregator, broker and lender educational commitments and financial goals.

 

6. Teamwork 

• Develop a strong team culture, committed to teamwork, high performance customer service, self-development, and improvement.

 

Skills and Experience: 

• Commercial business management capability
• Understanding of statistics, metrics, and reporting
• Experience in the management of large numbers of brokers
• Experience in account management, relationship management and networking essential
• Demonstrated achievement in distribution and conversion of sales leads
• Management of high volumes of financial transactions
• Experience in managing diverse, multi-tiered channels and brands
• Relevant general management, sales or industry experience essential
• Computer literacy essential
• Demonstrate sound judgement regarding business matters
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing task and deadlines and deliver on challenging, complex targets, goals, and objectives
• Ability to operate in a fluid environment where self-management and direction is required
