JPS Audit Specialists are audit and compliance specialists, providing auditing and assessment services to NDIS Providers across Australia.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Lead to establish and nurture new business opportunities for JPS. 

Overview of Role:

Through proactive lead generation and targeted outreach activities, you will engage a variety of clients, facilitating virtual meetings, developing and sending proposals and following up with calls and emails. Possessing well-developed consultative sales skills, you'll gain insight into the current business needs of our clients, and tailor solutions accordingly. Whilst warm leads will be provided, we also require your own lead generation activities to create new prospects.

This is a full-time permanent work-from-home role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect and expand the client base for audit services, utilising strategies such as cold calling, lead generation, and scheduled client meetings.
  • Identify potential prospects within the industry, assess their suitability through consultations, and develop customised quotations based on their scope of practice.
  • Nurture and qualify sales prospects to establish a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead contract negotiation processes, and lead or support negotiations to secure deals.
  • Assume responsibility for lead and revenue generation, and profit margins from the services sold.
  • Formulate sales strategies for designated business segments (referral partners, clients, and the broader industry).
  • Utilise JPS's CRM system to document customer interactions and insights, while keeping management informed of sales progress via reports and meetings.
  • Develop and nurture meaningful client relationships that align with the overall strategic direction and support providers with their NDIS audit experience.
  • Be a first point of contact of providers with JPS and convert leads to sales.
  • Respond to all sales queries in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Represent JPS Audit Specialists with credibility and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of NDIS auditing information, processes, and standards.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated "sales hunter" mentality with strong consultative selling abilities.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Business Development, Account Management or Sales within the NDIS or broader Healthcare sector.
  • A proactive self-starter with a history of exceptional performance and goal attainment.
  • Proficiency in selling service-based solutions, alongside a robust grasp of the issues facing NDIS providers or prospective providers seeking registration.
  • Strong commercial acumen, capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements.
  • Proficiency in analysing and documenting potential customer requirements, designing corresponding sales and service solutions.
  • Effective communication abilities across various channels, including phone, email, video, and collaboration tools.
  • Positive, self-driven attitude, capable of both independent work and collaborative team engagement.
  • Enthusiasm for success within a team-oriented environment.
  • Warm and friendly personality, with an excellent phone manner.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Experience working within NDIS or auditing will be highly regarded.
