Our client is a well-established retailer for mechanical equipment and accessories and as a result of ongoing business growth, they are currently seeking a Business Development Manager in a newly created position.  

What will I be responsible for?
This role will see you running our client’s sales room, supporting existing clients and bringing on new clients with a strong bonus incentive structure. Your main job duties include:

• Creating development plans and identifying new market opportunities / potential leads.
• Directly cold calling & approaching prospective clients, working closely on LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Providing ongoing support and service to clients to resolve any issues and meet their needs, mainly over the phone. 
• Attending various industry events and trade shows to increase awareness and engagement.

How can I be successful?
We are ideally seeking candidates who can hit the ground running and potentially bring on their own contacts and business leads.

Experience within the outdoor retail industry, with knowledge of caravan or 4WD sales.

As this is a permanent full-time position, you will be required to have full working rights and available to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, with some flexibility.
