Business Development Manager

Our client, an expanding well established Australian Business Consulting Services company with clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. 

Reporting to the General Manager of Sales & Marketing the role will primarily focus on growing the pipeline of opportunities for the company.

This will require a driven individual to identify and develop new business opportunities from new and existing clients. This role is also responsible for developing processes required for effective proposals and tender responses.  A great opportunity for a driven, autonomous and results-focused sales professional to make their mark in a company with strategic growth plans and to work with a highly supportive Senior Management team. There is also flexibility to work out of their Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne offices.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualified in Business, Management or related.
  


• You have 5 years + experience in B2B sales in professional services
  


• You are driven with the ability to work autonomously
  


• You have excellent communications and stakeholder engagement skills
  


• Experienced in consultative sales and the ability to drive value-adding business conversations
  


• You are able to deliver insights using knowledge of the market and issues facing clients
  


• Experienced in project management of major bids, tenders, and proposals
  


• Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to influence and negotiate
