What we are looking for

JSLmedia currently has an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team based in Canberra. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a digital or media sales background and has several years experience working with businesses or agencies.

We are looking for a dynamic, savvy media professional who enjoys working face to face with clients and delivering results.  To be successful it will be very important that you have the ability to find new leads that convert to paying customers and will be able to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across Canberra and surrounding regions to provide digital marketing solutions including Web Design, SEO, SEM, Social and Digital Media.
• Keep regular contact with clients to generate new leads, gain new relationships and maintain existing accounts.
• Be an excellent communicator to both clients and the rest of the entire JSLmedia team
• Have a sound awareness of market trends in order to identify new opportunities for new and existing clients.
• Consult with clients to develop a digital marketing strategy tailored to meet their individual business needs.

Ideally you will have

• At least 2-3 years experience in media sales.
• Excellent people skills.
• The ability to hit the ground running and reach, uphold and exceed sales targets.
• You will be organised and proactive in identifying new opportunities and securing new clients.
• Experience building relationships with local businesses and have a passion for the community.
• Tech savvy.
• Must be able to thrive as a member of a team while also highly self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
