Job Description - Business Development Manager

  • $90,000 - $110,000 + super, vehicle allowance and commission.
About the Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the owners of the company to launch a new brand of products into the Australian market.

Utilise your BD skills, experience and flair to sell products to retailers like Bunnings, Mitre 10, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, etc, and directly to customers via online sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Introduce new product to Australian stores, securing shelf space
  • Target online sales, wholesalers, and retail hardware/home goods outlets
  • Utilise social media for product advertising and demonstrations
  • Develop marketing strategies to boost product awareness
  • Attend trade shows and events to showcase products
  • Conduct market research to identify new leads
  • Manage client relationships effectively
  • Scale the business for future growth and expansion
  • Coordinate with international manufacturer and logistics team for order processing
Skills and Experience:
  • Experienced in launching new products and cultivating relationships with major retailers
  • Proficient in B2B sales with an understanding of the dynamics
  • Skilled in selling products through various channels: phone, virtual, and face-to-face
  • Marketing expertise across websites and social media platforms
  • Entrepreneurial background preferred but not essential
