Job Description - Business Development Manager

About Us:

Sensorem has established itself as a leading provider of remote sensing and drone solutions, renowned for its commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology and fostering innovation.

Since its establishment in 2013, the company has spearheaded some of the most substantial and complex drone and remote sensing data collection and analysis endeavours in Australia.

We are on a mission to exploit the full capabilities of drone technology, delivering flexible, scalable solutions to meet the diverse and evolving needs across multiple sectors, including mining, oil & gas, utilities, renewables, agriculture, and surveillance.

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development / Sales Specialist to join our ambitious team. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking professional eager to drive growth and expand our reach in existing and new markets. You will be instrumental in identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and securing sales that align with our strategic goals

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed business targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders within target industries.
  • Understand client needs and market trends, and collaborate with our technical team to develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead the negotiation and closure of deals, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales forecasts, market conditions, and competitive activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A technical background in remote sensing or RPAS technology is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably in the technology or RPAS industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to lead complex sales negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively presenting ideas and influencing others.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
