About You

Are you a relentless hunter, an opportunity creator, a relationship builder with a passion for sales in the industrial sector? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our organisation, a leader in the industrial capital goods sector, is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development within the industrial sector, a strong network of contacts, and the ability to build a customer database from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a sales process from scratch to identify, engage, and convert potential clients.
  • Act as a hunter to actively seek new business opportunities and open doors to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to develop effective business strategies.
  • Build a customer database from scratch, maintain accurate records, and provide regular sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the industrial sector.
  • Proven ability to build a sales process, identify new business opportunities, and close deals.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to build a customer database and maintain accurate records.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
