The Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for B2B sales for Amana Living Training Institute (ALTI) and managing existing relationships under the guidance of the Head of Amana Living Training Institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing key strategies, plans and initiatives that support ALTI to realize our potential in the market

• Work in accordance with Amana Living’s organisational culture in alignment with our vision, mission and values

• Working with other leaders in the ALTI Leadership Team also reporting to the Head of ALTI

• Monitor emerging trends and best practices in business development

• Working in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements in the VET sector

• Maintaining up-to-date funding and industry knowledge as determined by accrediting bodies and funding organisations

• Develop mechanisms to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all initiatives and activities, including internal stakeholder satisfaction

• Meet monthly and annual KPI targets; managing and assessing sales activities

• Develop, foster and manage relationships with colleagues, external clients and stakeholders

• Respond to all enquiries within 48 hours

• Produce and maintain all client-related documentation, including but not limited to contracts, memorandums of understanding, attendance records, and invoicing

• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products

• Develop sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow and potentially diversify the relationship with clients

• Collaborate with Student Services and Training Teams to deliver training that exceeds customer’s expectations and supports sales growth

• Proactively identify new business opportunities through market analysis

• Contributing to driving a customer focussed culture at ALTI

• Enhance client experience by actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns promptly

• Lead a small team consisting of an Enrolment Officer and Administration Officer

About you

  • Extensive B2B development experience with complex products essential
  • Strong consultative relationship manager with the ability to have value-led conversations
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills driven by sales success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative approach to B2B development
  • High level of customer service orientation
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months) or NDIS Screening Certificate
  • Proof of current influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations as per Amana Living policies
  • Western Australian C Class Driver’s
  • Completion of pre-employment health and reference checks
