Business Development Manager - Career Growth Potential

WATERBOY PUMPS are seeking an energetic and ambitious business development manager to help us grow our market share in Victoria & Southern NSW 

Our business is a solar water pumping leader in the Agricultural & Water pump industry and we are already well established and highly regarded across Australia for the quality of our products. 

You will be selling solar pumping solutions to Water Pumping and Agricultural businesses across Victoria and Southern NSW. This role will have a focus on developing strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in a growing renewable industry.

Ideally you should have experience of new business development selling, agricultural back ground is ideal  and you will have a mechanical aptitude and be enthusiastic about renewable sales

You will facilitate the end-to-end sales cycle - ie prospecting, identifying decision makers, establishing contact, identifying customer needs, solution development, pipeline management, presentations and demonstrations, proposal development & negotiation, sales contract preparation and sign off and ongoing relationship management

You will become an expert advisor on our pump range.  Over time and with experience you will develop a strong knowledge and understanding of our products and your goal will be to develop yourself as our ‘the go to person’ across Victoria & southern NSW.

This is a full time position working from home or on the road for ultimate flexibility.

You will be supported by Head office in Perth, Western Australia, travel to WA is required 3 times per year for meetings and quarterly meetings in Melbourne. 

This position is ideally suited to an experienced professional with a strong business development focus and track record of excellence in solution delivery and customer service. You may already be a proven sales professional, or you you may already have strong connections to the Agricultural and Water pumping industries.
