Business Development Manager (Hospitality)

Amora Hotel Brisbane located in the heart of the CBD has recently completed an extensive refurbishment .

We are seeking applications for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our expanding sales team.  This is a unique opportunity to join Amora Hotel Brisbane as we emerge as Brisbane’s newest and luxurious 5 star Hotel property. 

About You

You will have established experience in sales within the hotel industry and be knowledgeable in the corporate, MICE and groups markets. You are a people person with a competitive spirit and an understanding of proactive sales.  Salesforce and Opera experience will be highly regarded, along with readiness to learn new software applications as required.  You will have flexibility to attend events and travel as required along with being a team orientated player.

Your main responsibilities include:

Use your experience and understanding of the Hotel Accommodation and Events market segments to identify and pursue new business sales opportunities

Build, maintain and cultivate positive professional long term relationships with new and existing clients

To be considered you will have:

Demonstrated success as BDM in a similar role within hotels ideally in the Brisbane market

Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary team

Excellent presentation, and communication skills

Highly developed organisational skills and problem solving ability
