Business Development Manager - Mechanical and HVAC $120K – $140K per year + super + comms neg! About the role: Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is responsible for the growth and development of existing and new business by maintaining existing relationships and engaging new clients through referrals, cold calling, and other.  This position is critical to ensure the continued growth and success of the organisation but also an opportunity to create genuine partnerships with future clients. General Job tasks and responsibilities: Strong client relationship and people management skills, with the proven ability to develop trust and credibility Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel) and company CRM, Zoho Work closely with management team to deliver sales targets and revenue Presenting company products and services to clients at all levels but most importantly, the decision makers Ensuring that all activity levels required to deliver performance indicators are met Preparing client proposals and estimations for mechanical and HVAC Follow up with client issues as they arise About you: You will be someone who has a qualification and sales exp in mechanical engineering, preferably with HVAC. You will be a positive person who will contribute to my clients awesome culture.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with your clients and fellow employees are essential attributes if you are to be successful in this role. You must have the ability to up and cross sell to new and existing products to clients. Key requirements: Has qualification and sales exp in mechanical engineering, preferably with HVAC. Has experience in building relationships with potential clients via cold calls, networking and other prospecting activities Strong ability to use CRM’s efficiently and effectively Has developed sales channels within desired client segments being commercial kitchens Experience in developing new sales strategies and plans A good understanding of marketing basics A sound understanding of current trends and consumer requirements Capable of preparing client proposals and estimations to a professional standard Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement Systematic approach to sales processes and business development Excellent interpersonal/telephone skills and intuition Ability to generate ideas for business improvement Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Persistent approach to time management High levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness Excellent planning, organisation and computer skills High degree of accountability and attention to detail Yolk is here to help!
