About the role

Who are you?  You are either a seasoned sales professional from any industry with a passion for education; you might be a teacher with a sales-edge who is results driven and wants to see real change.  Come and talk to us.  This is a Sydney based role.  Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and growing the Writer’s Toolbox brand.

In this role you will:

• Meet sales targets by implementing strategic growth plans within your defined territory.
• Have a proactive “hunter” attitude with consultative selling skills and the ability to have value-led conversations with prospects and clients.
• Execute outreach strategies to generate and qualify your own leads as well as cultivate leads from marketing efforts to consistently grow your sales pipeline.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from the initial call, to customer visit and product presentation, and proposal submission to a signed contract.
• Show resilience and perseverance to succeed in a sales environment.
• Have a strong understanding of customer dynamics, requirements and decision-making processes.

You should have

• A passion for sales and a drive to deliver positive outcomes for clients, demonstrating curiosity and customer empathy at all times. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and clients.
• High integrity, tenacity, and a team-oriented attitude focused on collective success.
• Prior experience in the education technology space (highly desired).
• Resilience and drive to exceed sales targets.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and being across industry trends affecting the education sector.
