About the role - Conduct thorough market research to find prospective clients and suppliers.
- Identify and engage with potential clients through networking, cold calling, emails or industry events.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business growth plans.
- Maintain close relationship with existing suppliers and clients to ensure ongoing sales and growth.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation.
- provide regular updates to the manager on growth and performance.
About you - Prior experience in business development in Food manufacturing and wholesale industry.
- Prior experience in lead generation and cold calling/walk ins to suppliers and clients.
- Existing database for relevant suppliers and clients to assist in business growth.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with a flair for relationship building.
- Excellent contract negotiation skills with an ability to develop effective sales strategies.
- Own reliable vehicle to visit prospects. Car allowance will be provided.
