THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll be pivotal in offering unparalleled service and expertise, ensuring every client interaction fosters trust and satisfaction. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is not just about sales - it's about deeply understanding customer needs and working alongside a dedicated team and clientele to nurture lasting relationships, all while being supported by a skilled technical and customer service team to maintain the momentum of rapid expansion.

 

Key areas of responsibility and accountability:

Client Relations & Teamwork:

  • Maintain consistent communication with our WA clients to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with your fellow product experts and BDMs for effective solutions.

Sales Execution & Relationship Building:

  • Guide potential leads to successful sales, meeting, and surpassing targets.
  • Cultivate strong connections, understanding each stakeholder's unique requirements.

Market Insight & Problem Resolution:

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities through detailed market analysis.
  • Address challenges with strategic and effective solutions tailored to client needs.

Sector Commitment & Data Management:

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for the mining and energy sectors, staying informed on trends and technologies.
  • Diligently update CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer relationships.

Customer Engagement & Expert Assistance:

  • Enhance client retention by actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Offer technical assistance, ensuring our solutions align with client expectations.

 

ABOUT YOU

You’re an eager professional, a ‘gun’, with a mechanical mindset and familiarity with mechanical products, and with previous experience in the markets we operate in. You’re an energetic, adaptable individual with a genuine drive to succeed and in building a meaningful, and rewarding career. 

 

You will need to demonstrate:

Market Expertise & Innovation:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the markets we operate in or show a readiness to adapt and learn.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for proactive problem-solving.

Mobility & Hands-On Experience

  • Willingness to reguarly travel for on-site engagements.
  • Hands-on experience in heavy machinery, such as Diesel Fitting / Maintenance Supervision or have worked closely with these positions in the past.

Communication & Technical Proficiency

  • Confident in interactions with technical staff (such as diesel fitters), right through to senior management.
  • Strong grasp of filtration technology for heavy machinery and equipment, with a willingness to expand knowledge.

Professional Skills & Team Orientation

  • You’re a real team player – teamwork means everything to you.
  • A genuine energy and passion for customer service and relationship building.
  • Effective communicator with solid relationship-building skills.
  • Background in customer service or sales, with a dynamic approach to client interactions.
  • Not shy of challenging conversations, skilled in persuasion and influence.
  • Demonstration of punctuality, reliability, and integrity.

Technical & Data Management

  • Essential IT capabilities for daily operations (operation of a laptop and general office software is essential).
  • Proficient in CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce for pipeline and data management.
