Job Description - Business Development/ Sales Acquisition Manager



**The Company**


Join us in the development of a video-based widget/ videobot platform supporting businesses to serve and engage their customers, enabling them to provide interactive, personalised support, build stronger relationships and increase sales. We are early stage currently focusing on beta testing and launch preparation. 


Founded in Perth, Western Australia we are part of an incubator, Hustle, that has developed a number of successful mobile and SaaS apps. Our focus in our apps is on building user friendly solutions to problems we are experiencing ourselves. 


**The Role**

We are seeking a Business Development/ Sales Manager/ Representative to lead customer acquisition for Speakeasy.  


Responsibilities include: 

·       Development of a sales strategy for Speakeasy 

·       Development of sales collateral including value proposition, scripts, presentation and demo sequence and materials, proposals, onboarding, and account management (for larger clients only) 

·       Identification and prioritisation of customer segments to approach starting with SMEs 

·       New customer outreach – calls, emails, Inmails, leads from website/ paid advertising, networking, events, potential partners 

·       Providing an engaging demo, answering questions, and if required supporting proposal / onboarding / account management for larger clients 

·       Identifying, approaching and developing suitable partnership/ referral opportunities 

·       Work with the Marketing Manager both to feedback information from the sales outreach and onboarding customers, and to develop common marketing and sales material 

·       Scale up from SME market to enterprise market 


Requirements: 

·       Solid sales B2B/ B2BC experience (ideally in tech/ SaaS/selling to e-commerce market/ video marketing). SME market focus initially. 

·       Experience or clear understanding of sales in an early-stage start-up where there are many unanswered questions and where sales material and value propositions are not yet developed or a work in progress 

·       Keenness to do customer outreach and acquisition as well as strategy - our goal is for the sales team to develop but part of this role is to support final decision making re target market and to acquire an early user base
